Fitness

Fitness is a word heavily over used and misused. To be fit simply means to be ready. However, how much of the fitness industry is getting you ready for anything. The industry currently is driven 90% by the concern of weight loss. By that, I mean weight loss at any expense. Many programs can assist you in losing weight but then harm your immune system. Others put you in a smaller dress size while damaging your endocrine system. How about the ones that help weight loss, but then you find yourself feeling sluggish and low on energy?

At Break The Wheel we open by assisting you in finding an overall list of functional goals. Say for instance you have bad knees but want to ski again. Maybe you want to golf again but you have severe back pain. Maybe your bucket list is on the line and their are activities you want to complete on it. Our job is to take the everyday Joe/Jane and turn them back into the young vigorous person they used to be.

During this process you become more functional, more energetic, and raise your overall quality of life. The fringe benefit to all of this is fatloss and weightloss. Another benefit to training in this way and with this mindset is that you are much likely to not quit.
